Stories along the way:

22.06.2008
I bought my CB750 Custom in the autumn of 2006. The bike was museum registered, on the mileage meter only about 14,000 miles. I do not suspects readings of mileages because of bike's overall conditions and minor traces of using.
The bike has one intractable problem: after the long perioid without driving (more than a week)  the start-up was really difficult. Starting last so long that sometimes even the battery became empty.
After the driving season 2007, I removed the carburettors and cleaned them up, as well as exchanged the float valves and the membranes of the air cut of valves (The float valves I got cheapest from Ebay's store from New Zealand!). Maintenance of the carburettors improved even further the runnability of the bike. Among others, correlation to the throttling improved, and the bike felt better, but still did not any improvement to the starting problem.
After fighting with the bad starting beginning of 2008, I decided to by-pass the vacuum functioned automatic fuel valve, if it does not work properly. So I led the fuel hose from the hand-tap directly to the carburetors. Then, to tried the starting and no luck!
But then in the summer of 2009 I tried the trick to bleed out some fuel from chambers of the carburetors, so that some fresh fuel flowed in the carburetors.
That was the right manouver! The bike start up running immediately after pushing the start!
So I recommend you kind, if you have the same symptoms similar to those bikes, to try out the by-passing the automatic valve and bleed out some fuel from the champers, before the start to thinking other reasons for the bad starting.
The curren gasoline has so quick etherealing substances that it doesn't remain in good condition very long time in those old carburetors.
